TechTO fills rooms. Thousands of founders, operators and investors, month after month, at the events where Canadian tech actually meets. By 2023 it was the largest community of its kind in the country. It still looked like a meetup.

A brand can't be the smallest thing in the room
The identity was not dated. The problem was bigger than that.
TechTO's own events had become the strongest thing the brand owned. None of that energy survived on the website, in the decks, or on the screen behind a speaker. The community was the product, and the product was represented by everything except itself.

Design it for the screen behind the speaker
So the identity was designed for its loudest surface first. Not the logo on white, but the wall-sized screen at the front of a room with a thousand people in it. Type either carries to the back of that room or it does not.
Research and positioning came first and set the rule everything followed. Whatever was made had to work at twelve feet, cropped into a social square, and squeezed into a slide footer. Same brand every time.

Gev Design went above and beyond at every point of this project. They perfectly captured the essence of TechTO, delivering a brand and website that feel both modern and true to our community. The final result exceeded all expectations.
Jason Goldlist, Co-Founder, TechTOOne brand, every surface
The identity now runs the whole operation. A Webflow site the team updates itself between events. The decks that sell sponsorships. The social templates. The screens at the front of the room.
TechTO has kept growing since, and it is now the same organisation everywhere you meet it.
