The success of ChatGPT has inspired companies to integrate more AI systems into their operations, and Fairly is a governance platform that assists organizations in mitigating AI-related risks. Helping the founding team, I contributed to the design of a user-friendly product that enables executives and policy experts to work together effectively and oversee the implementation risks of AI.
Two audiences, one platform
As companies race to put AI into their operations, someone has to keep the risks in check. Fairly is a governance platform that helps organizations mitigate AI-related risk, which means serving two very different audiences at once: the executives and the policy experts who have to oversee AI implementation together.

Something people can actually use
Working with the founding team, we designed a user-friendly web app where executives and policy experts can work together effectively on AI oversight, and a pitch deck that explains the platform without the jargon. Prototypes kept highly technical engineering and compliance requirements grounded in something people could actually use.
The unthinkable, made simple
Founder David Van Bruwaene's summary is hard to beat: taking highly technical AI engineering and compliance into account, the design did the unthinkable and made it simple.
